Windsor Furniture Co. ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, create an account, or place an order, and how we use it. We do not sell your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Orders: your name, email address, phone number, and, for delivery, your street address. We also keep the items you ordered, the amounts charged, and your delivery or pickup choice.
• Accounts: if you create an account, your name, email address, username, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, never your password.
• Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.

Payment information

All online payments are processed by Stripe. We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Amazon Pay, Cash App Pay, and payment plans from Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay. Your payment details are entered into Stripe's secure payment form and go directly to Stripe (or to the payment provider you choose); they never touch our servers and we never see or store your full card number or bank account details. We receive only the payment method used (for cards, the brand, the last four digits, and whether it is credit or debit) and the result of the payment.

How Stripe collects and uses information

We use Stripe for payments, fraud prevention, and related business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services, such as browser and device characteristics and how the payment form is used, along with transaction details such as the amount and shipping address. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including to detect and prevent fraud. Stripe states that it does not use this information for advertising or sell it to advertisers.

Link

Link is Stripe's service for saving payment details to reuse across stores. If you choose to save your details with Link or sign in to it, your information is held by Link under the Link Privacy Policy, not by us. Link may remember you in the browser you used through a cookie on its own domain, which this Site cannot see or remove. If you use Link on a public or shared computer, sign out of Link or clear the browser's cookies when you are finished.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use it to keep the Site secure and working, for example to block abuse and to protect sign-in.

How We Use Your Information

• To process, deliver, and support your orders, including emailing your receipt and contacting you to schedule delivery or pickup
• To run your account and show your order history
• To answer your questions
• To keep the Site secure and prevent fraud
• To keep the business records the law requires, such as sales and tax records

We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies, all needed for it to work or to remember choices you make:

• Session and security: keep you signed in, protect forms, and remember your cart.
• Shopping preferences: remember your filters, the "In-stock Items Only" setting, how many products to show per page, and which filter sections you have open.
• Security provider: Cloudflare, which protects the Site, may set cookies to tell real visitors from automated traffic.
• Payments: Stripe sets cookies on the checkout and product pages to process payments and prevent fraud, and Link may set a cookie on its own domain to remember you if you use it (see above).

We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout will not work without them.

Third-Party Services

• Stripe processes all online payments and helps prevent fraud (see above).
• Apple Pay and Google Pay: if you pay with one, Apple or Google shares a payment token and the contact details you approve with Stripe, under Apple's or Google's privacy policy.
• Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay: if you choose a payment plan, you complete it on that company's site, and it receives the details needed to approve the plan (such as your name, contact information, and order total) under its own privacy policy, and may check your credit. Product pages may show payment plan estimates provided through Stripe.
• Amazon Pay and Cash App Pay: if you choose one, you approve the payment with Amazon or Cash App (Block, Inc.), which receives the order total and the details needed to complete the payment under its own privacy policy.
• Cloudflare delivers and protects the Site.
• Google Maps shows our store location on the home page. Google's Privacy Policy applies to the map.
• Elfsight displays our Google reviews on the Reviews page.
• Google sign-in, if you choose to use it, shares your name and email address with us.
• Acima lease-to-own applications are made on Acima's own website, under Acima's privacy policy.

Sharing

We share your information only with the services above as needed to run the Site and process your order, with our own staff and delivery team, and when required by law. We do not sell or rent it.

Security and Retention

The Site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to your information to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information. We keep order records as long as needed for warranty, tax, and accounting purposes, and account information until you ask us to close your account.

Your Choices

You can view and update your account details at any time after signing in. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion of your account, contact us using the details below.

Children

The Site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
